I don’t play a ton, but I’d say god of war. For some reason can’t get into anything else. I have black ops, rdr2, and had far cry 5, but only played them for a few hours.

I think Celeste and Hollow Knight are superior to any AAA game released last year to be honest.

I found RDR2 and God of War guilty of the overly cinematic approach I find worn out and boring, even though they are obviously some of the best in their categories. I don't really care for games that play like hollywood blockbusters. Whatever one might think of the story, the aesthetics, narrative, script and voice acting is just silly.

DQ is fucking legit. I loved every minute of it and jrpgs aren't really my cup of tea.

I would definitely say God of War, but it was a little on the short side. Fucking beautiful game though.

2018 was a little weaker than the last couple of years IMO, but there is quite a few games I am really looking forward to this year

Maybe I will get DQ 11 since everyone seems to have loved it.
