I got my Ouano gi's today. I haven't rolled in them yet, but they sure look and feel nice. The gold weave looks great, the pants feel really strong and the collar is ultra thick. For the price ($80 for white and $90 for blue), these are a great buy. I'll add a review to this thread once I use them, but I wanted to post some pictures for now.

I purchased them through Ron at SSF and, as usual, service was great, shipping was quick... what more can you really say?

    Enjoy.

I do. I've only worn a really cheap gi in the past, though... it blows that away.

The thick collars will rub your neck until you get use to it or wear a tall collar RG. The pictures look great. Make sure you wash them in cold and hang dry.

I don't believe so because they recommend air drying. Ron?

Check out their black one, too. It's got red trim and looks really great.

the ouano pants are some of the strongest gi pants i have ever seen, they should last a very long time, the only thing is that there kinda ruff, almost like jeans. but i like mine.

By the way - how do you pronounce "Ouano"???

    My best guess is "Oh-won-oh"

I've always pronounced it "won-oh", but your guess is as good as mine.
