Got my Blue Belt tonight!!!

Wow, didn't expect it, but after a grueling match with y instructor, he pulled out a Blue Belt and handed it to me. Every one clapped and cheered and was very supportive. People can say what they want about belts not meaning anything thing, but this felt really good. And yes now I can paint a huge target on my back for all to gun for.

Good job. Ive been training in BJJ for a bout 1.5 years now and I'm still a white belt. I expect to get my blue belt sometime around 2015.

I agree that belt colors don't really matter much... but getting that blue must feel awesome even though now all the white belts are going to be gunning for you even more. Congratulations dude! When I get my blue belt, trust me im going to sleep with it on the first few nights. :icon_chee :icon_lol:

Thanks, no I wasn't whipped, I have heard of that though, just not my instructors style. I've been at it consistantly for about 14-15 months.
