the definition for staying healthy being avoiding diabetes... that's setting the bar pretty low.

I love it when fat people say they're healthy just because they haven't had a heart attack yet.

The daily recommended amount of exercise has gone down over the years. It used to be 1 hour a day, now I see it being 30 minutes a day.

It's pretty sad that recommended exercise nowadays was basically just a way of life back in the day. I mean fuck, I've heard people talk about their exercise program as being 30 minutes of walking 3 times a week. I walk more than that every day just to get around.

If that's 7 minutes' worth tabata rounds of 14lb sledgehammering, I fully agree.

I think that if you don't exercise and then try to sprint for seven minutes, you will die of a heart attack long before you develop diatbetis.

i highly doubt someone that doesn't exercise could sprint for 7 minutes, even in 10 second intervals. they would easily pass out first

agreed. My 7 min workouts could probably kill a normal man, no he'd probably pass out before.

One word (lol): 20-rep-squats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is very sad that people even put a number on length of workouts. I bet a fat person wrote that article.

Not saying I agree with the whole 7 minutes shtick. But I think people on this forum forget not everyone in the world wants to be an athelete/competitive fighter. Walking 30 minutes a day 3 times a week is pretty decent for an old fella looking to keep his ticker kicking. There is a difference between being a machine and being healthy.

7 minutes? looks like im gonna have to increase my workouts by like...hmm, umm..carry the 8 drop the 0..um. like 6 and a half minutes.

What's truly sad is how much money would be saved from waste if even 70% of the US did this.

LOL Yea man...I'm no exercise monster. I workout 2 hours and 5 minutes a week but I would say between work school and travelling to my girlfriends I must walk an average of 1 hour a day. Who counts that as exercise?

So basically big cities would have zero diabetes were it not for the invention of the elevator.
