We are just getting our next batch of silverback gis under way and figured we'd do a presale of using the same fabric. But this presale is not for our silverback we are making we are leaving the door open for you to make your own custom gi with the available options we provided. So no more waiting around for a gi brand to come up with something you want just make it yourself.

Also our size chart has over 12 sizes now so regardless of your body type you should be able to find a size that fits like a glove.

Custom Silverback Gi Presale

Sale price is only for the presale which ends april 5th, 2013

yeah and i noticed the orders i've been getting so fair are for simple clean gis, which makes me think i'm on the right track keeping my production gis simple and clean free of all the patches.

That's a really good price on embroidery, most places would charge you that much to digitize

yeah i was talking to some local embroidery shops and they want $25-50 just to digitize your logo into their software system let along do the work.

i was going to offer wolven logos as well but then id actually have to get 100 made each time someone wanted 1. that wasn't going to work for anyone.

as for the sublimation your paying for the full canvas so it doesn't matter if you want a small 5inch piece or a large mural the cost is the same. however it' just one color.

If this works without a hitch then i'll be offering almost all our gear with the option of crazy customization. full price custom work on any given day and discounted custom work when the same gear is running through the gauntlet at the factory.

I'm making one for sure.

I emailed you awhile back about a custom sized kong, any more luck in that area?

Now that is custoer service at its best! I sort of hope more companies would give this possibility in customisations, but then again, one is enough... :D

this is unreal...if you've been waiting for the right platinum weave, i'de jump on this. lots of kick ass reviews for these guys.

Wow... That's how preorders should be done!

How much shrinkage should we expect? I'm right between the M and T-M. Do you know roughly what it will weigh?

For the KONGS we are just focused on clearing out the rest of the current gis, then we will figure out what we are going to do with that super thick fabric. i have been playing with the idea of a 850 gold weave judo/bjj hybrid jacket that id be selling separably to those that cross train in judo/bjj.

i was pretty detailed as to what i expect preshrunk to mean as i want very minimal shrinkage no more then 2-4%. Also i discussed that the size chart numbers i provided are the after shrinkage numbers, so they are supposed to cut the gis a bit bigger to accommodate for the shrinkage to meet my size chart requirements. I should have a new silverback in my hands next week then i'll shrink it to death and see how it changes over 3-4 high heat wash/dry cycles. How tall are you and how much do you weight.

Did you? Sorry, didn't see.

Anyway, based on the measurements it looks like I'm solidly a medium (looks like your gis are cut pretty long already?). I'm 5'11, 165 to 170 lbs, long arms...

Just measured my Tatami Estilo A2... 64 inch wingspan, 21 width, and 38 inch long pants.

If your numbers are AFTER shrinkage then it looks like a medium is safe and a T-M would be huge.

Sorry i meant i was pretty detailed with the factory. i'll have to add that info to the page as well. based on your height id put you in a L is your current gi a bit short on you especially in the arms?

My best fitting gi is my redstar A1L, I am 5'9" 155#, I am assuming I am good in T-S? I had the old silverback in the A2SS and it shrunk too small after about a year so I want to make certain.

Then I just need to decide between a gray gi with a black collar or a santa clause gi (red gi white collars/piping)

Maybe an inch longer. My concern with the large would be the chest being too baggy on a large. Here's my Tatami:

i see what your talking about if you want id suggest you wait till have mine in so i can shrink it. then we will go from there.

Just ordered mine. Ended up going gray with blue lapels/piping/stitching.

Pretty excited, I've dyed my own gis before but this one will be truly mine.

nice brother i'll send to a photoshop image of everyones gis just to confirm details by the end of the week.

one more week to order then we will contact everyone to confirm all the details before sending everything out to the factory.
