Saw this on Cnet earlier today, figured I'd post it here. http://www.cnn.com/2014/05/21/tech/innovation/google-apple-brand-value/index.html?hpt=hp_t2 First it was Microsoft - monopolizing, anti-competitive Microsoft, that was the most valuable tech company in the world. Then it was Apple, patent law abusing, grossly overpriced sub-par hardware Apple brainwashing people into thinking that two year old hardware was two years ahead of its time. Now we've got Google, sliding its tendrils into every element of your life from your e-mails to your phone to your bloody thermostat and selling information about your it to the highest bidder. Can a tech company become the world's most valuable without having the general profile of a potential Bond villain?
