Google and Youtube results not as good as they used to be

Has anyone else noticed this? The results you get aren't as good unless you search for common words. And youtube gives you a few results and adds this "recommended for you" bullshit you gotta scroll through before you see more results.

It's all engineered to direct you to the mainstream. Social engineering, in other words. The search functions no longer work as they used to. I can copy & paste the title of a video into youtube and it STILL won't give me that video in the results.

Also use duckduckgo to search for anything controversial to get a more balanced view

Yes, and they are constantly trying to sell me shit instead of bringing up proper results.

I began using the search engine Brave. I've been pleased with it.

I agree that when you search something on youtube it gives you a bunch of unrelated stuff.

One thing I do like though, if you're using the youtube phone app, is that they include these short videos which are a lot of fun to watch. I enjoy the videos of people cooking.
