Good smoking pipes and cleaning them

I have the piece pipe

The design is really neat.
It is tiny, easy to clean and stealthy.
I've got the chrome type. I kind of want the brass one instead. Even though it heats up faster, I guess.
Little flakes have come off the side, as it is rubs when I drag it out. Kind of annoying as it is not a cheap pipe.

Now all I hear is that glass is king.
I'm wondering about getting one. They seem real easy to clean.

Briar is nice, yes even for weed, so long as you keep it maintained and clean the stem regularly. Pack it like a joint and burn it down slow.

No cleaning required. I just change the copper wire in the gauze when it gets clogged.

Yeh, I change the water after ever bucket session. That shit can linger. One of my mates spits in the water after he has a bucket, like every time. Pisses me off.

You ever had a blast-off? Using a shit lighter to pull a bucket- bottle fills with gas, and when the lighter eventually lights the gas ignites and the bottle hits the ceiling. Happened to me once, water all over the place. I've only used fully functional lighters for buckets since.

I bought five glass screens a few years ago and am still using the same one.
Say goodbye to that metallic screen taste and say hello to flavor.

Easy to clean too.
Don't worry about saving resin, it's disgusting. Clean it out with warm water and rubbing alcohol.

I smoke joints most of the time and the only pipes I ever use is regular glass ones. Smoked shatter for the first time the other day in one and it was the best tasting shit I ever smoked.

Have you tried the bubbler one?
I wonder if there is a huge difference.
Or just go with the spoon type.

Not sure I know what a bubbler is.
My advice: look for a glass piece that has
1. A longish stem, or at least one that isn't eyebrow singingly short.
2. Has bumps or a flattened bottom that allow it to sit without rolling, overturning.
3. This is hard to gauge- a bowl that isn't too shallow (or you'll be filling it more often) or too deep (or it'll gum up with resin a lot)

I'm not kidding about glass screens either. The one I've been using for years cost me ten cents.

Gravity.
Wonders you can do with a bucket, an empty two litre, a jury rigged bowl and drop tube, a little duct tape.

Takes me back... thirty years. I recall a party where I set up a gravity bong in the basement, it was in a college town and before I knew what was up, girls from the dorm next door were visiting.
It was heaven. Each one of them was amazed by this contraption I'd created.
