Well Jan still deserves a shot...its just going to be an easy fight for Jon...
Ya he does, but not as much as the guy who arguably just beat Jon.
Reyes by KO.

Agreed, he went to a decision with Jacare in his last fight too. Jan doesn't have Rumble level power, but he can finish guys with average or below average chins. Jones almost certainly will lobby for a fight with Jan since it should be easier than rematching Reyes. He‘s been taking heads off lately but he’s not really a heavy hitter if you look at his record. Anderson and Rockhold are chinny. He devastated both of them though.
Corey better get back to Beastin 25/8 mang.Bc Joe Rogan kept saying "He's angry" a bunch of times
SU you troll. Jan would KO Running-Man Reyes and represents a lot more actual danger to Jones than Reyes backpedaling style.Agreed, he went to a decision with Jacare in his last fight too. agree 100% - Jan has very good wrestling, sick submissions and great stand up + the brain and patience of an experienced fighterSU you troll. Jan would KO Running-Man Reyes and represents a lot more actual danger to Jones than Reyes backpedaling style.
Corey Anderson was rank #5 at Light Heavyweight in the UFC. So what is your definition of elite? Top what?Feel kinda bad for Corey lol.
Dude was never going to make it to the elite level of MMA.
That won't do him too well against Jones regardless. Jan doesn't have the power to turn off Jon's lights let alone rock him like Reyes did. Jones wrestling and distance control/reach is still the top of the division along with his granite chin the only chance Jan will win is basically stealing rounds by being more active than Jon and swaying the judges for a decision.agree 100% - Jan has very good wrestling, sick submissions and great stand up + the brain and patience of an experienced fighter
Reyes lost not because jon was better....but because reyes gave it away in the 5th.you simply can't coast your way to a decision in a big money fight.Ya he does, but not as much as the guy who arguably just beat Jon.

Not even remotely answering my question. You simply made excuses about blah blah blah. What do you consider elite? That just shows how bad the divison is.
Who has he ever beaten who is elite?
How many times has he been finished by guys who themselves are not elite, or over the hill (Shogun)?

So you are going bs the entire time with bs. Okay, enjoy your made up frustration to fit your made up narrativePeople who have wins over other top fighters and elites.
Again, who has Corey beaten?
His career is scattered with losses. His "top" wins are laying on guys who are top 20 at best.

It's whatever helps you sleep since you are the one coming up with some bs narrative to fit your bs explanation. Meanwhile, Corey Anderson lost and he has to go back to the drawing board and understand he can't take strikes like some other fighters can and he has to get a style that requires much more defense than other fighters may not have to do. 5 losses and 4 of them are due to strikes because he can't take a punch as well as other MMA fighters.Whatever helps you sleep at night Corey, though sleeping isn't something you had an issue with last night.
