He‘s been taking heads off lately but he’s not really a heavy hitter if you look at his record. Anderson and Rockhold are chinny. He devastated both of them though.

Agreed, he went to a decision with Jacare in his last fight too. Jan doesn't have Rumble level power, but he can finish guys with average or below average chins. Jones almost certainly will lobby for a fight with Jan since it should be easier than rematching Reyes.

Corey Anderson simply needs to go back to concentrating on just winning fights in the UFC and pretty much expect nothing from it except having a solid career. His lack of taking a punch will probably always doom him from ever fighting for a title, but he can still have a solid career in the UFC.

That won't do him too well against Jones regardless. Jan doesn't have the power to turn off Jon's lights let alone rock him like Reyes did. Jones wrestling and distance control/reach is still the top of the division along with his granite chin the only chance Jan will win is basically stealing rounds by being more active than Jon and swaying the judges for a decision.

Someone will inevitably get a legit win from Jones one day. But I doubt it'll be Jan, I would like to be proven wrong so Jones can finally be dethroned, but really every single challenger put in front of Jones so far despite their efforts loses in the end.

Meanwhile, Corey Anderson lost and he has to go back to the drawing board and understand he can't take strikes like some other fighters can and he has to get a style that requires much more defense than other fighters may not have to do. 5 losses and 4 of them are due to strikes because he can't take a punch as well as other MMA fighters.
