Good luck to all the competitors this weekend. Ill be competing in the purple lightweight masters division for both gi and nogi. First tournament at purple and I am excited.
Hoping to see a good match between my instructor Gustavo 'Siri' Pires and Rafael Lovato. Gustavo has beat him twice recently one was DQ and other was by 2 or 4 points I believe.
Also saw some interesting names signed up. I noticed Checkmat BJJ Mark Hughes listed as blackbelt Meio-Pesado NO-GI. I'm wondering if this is Matt Hughes brother Mark, I want to assume it is but no idea.
