Cotto is lineal, but as we know that isn't always everything. I think GGG would be all sorts of bad for him right now.

Yeah, normally that would give him the nod as the #1 but in this instance, with Sergio's relative inactivity the last few years and with Golovkin's dominance, it brings it into question a bit. Golovkin would be problems for Cotto at Cotto's best weight, let alone a weight where Miguel is undersized. I can't see a prospective fight going all that well for Cotto, but I wouldn't rule out Cotto having some real success in spots.
