Is this reasonable? or a slippery slope?

For the assessment of whether or not I should get the vaccine. I think I am pretty firmly decided that I would not like to contract Covid either. For the time being, I would like to have neither Covid nor the vaccine.

I believe most people didn't and don't want to contract COVID, you most likely won't have a choice in the matter though as you could be exposed to it and it's contractable though every day contact with people.

Don't know for sure. Never been anti-body tested. But I haven't been sick with anything that has Covid-like symptoms, and I've taken a Covid test at 4 different points and all have been negative.
1 in 3 are asymptomatic, there's a good chance you never knew.

So by your amazing wisdom I should take the vaccine and risk TWO potential long term complications?

Help me understand what you are saying here.

I have no idea what your situation is and I'm sure your doctor(s) would have a better understanding. For those of us that haven't had it and just going on the numbers without getting into someone's medical history, it's more reasonable to get vaccinated.

I have no faith what so ever in a GP's opinion on whether or not I should or shouldn't take a vaccine.

There is no reward for a young healthy person who's had covid to take a vaccine for it. its just not a good idea. And its what I based my decision on.

It doesn't seem to be a hard concept to grasp to me.

a: young and healthy
b: young and immune compromised
c: prior antibodies from an infection
d: old and healthy
e: old and poorly/immune compromised

I fall into category a & c
All of the other categories need medicine or category d might decide not to.

I have zero doubt rejecting a vaccine is a good decision for now for me.

I didn't say it was impossible for me to get Covid. Its just another factor in my risk assessment. The choice isn't "Inject this vial full or vaccine, or inject this vial full of Covid". Its "Inject this vial full of vaccine, or risk possibly contracting Covid". So when calculating my expected outcomes, I have to weight the risks accordingly. For now, I'll just keep trying to dodge Covid.

The R0 of COVID based current data is 1.4-3.9, the flu is around 0.9-2.1. COVID is going to be around for a long time so the chances are you will contract it, but who knows, you may get lucky.

If not a GP, who's opinion would you have faith in? And in your position, with A and C I may make the same choice. Just A though, I would lean towards getting the shot.

Me too, infact had I not have caught covid back in November, I probably would already had been vaccinated.
Up until I listened to one of the inventors of mRNA just three days ago voice his concerns about long term potential issues from a lack of long term data and a new concern about the spike and lipids now being detected in various parts of the body including bine marrow and the ovaries. Ill be honest, I'm actually glad I got covid, a god send

I've survived all the giant spikes so far. I'm not going start panicking now while cases are nearing all-time lows.

We have a large part of the population that won't get the vaccine so it's going to spike again during flu season, not nearly as high of course.

The flu stays around year by year because it mutates to the extent where the immune system doesn't recognize it. But this virus doesn't have that ability, immunity should last years unless a strain shows up (not merely a variant).

It depends heavily on the vaccinated + infected % in his local area that would be inducing herd immunity at ~70%. According to the latest estimate, the CDC thinks 115M Americans caught Covid (including non-tested, uncounted cases). So that's 35% immunity right off the bat + about 50% vaccination rate = 85%. It's not impossible that someone unvaccinated could dodge this for a surprisingly long amount of time, if not forever.

.
What are your thoughts on fully vaccinated people catching covid-19 and dying then?

Do you think the same fate awaits people with natural immunity also? I would have thought no.

I'm not aware yet of anyone who's caught covid then caught a different variant and died. Yet here in the UK double vaccinated people are dying from the delta variant.

No. People who got the vaccine then caught Covid just had a vaccine that plainly didn't work. Everyone who has had Covid and recovered did so because their immune system produced an antibody response. If your immune system didn't, you would either have chronic covid for the rest of your life or more likely, die. People who have get the vaccines have no guarantee of every having had produced an immune system response. Its why people repeat "that's how you know its working" whenever someone has a bad reaction to the vaccine. At least then you know your vaccine provoked some sort of immune response. Without a reaction, you don't really have a way of knowing if the vaccine did anything or not.
The vaccine worked well for one variant though. Just not the new delta variant.

So my question is basically, if the virus hasn't changed that much like he says. Why are fully vaccinated people protected from variant X dying from variant Y

The immune system worked better than all of the "vaccines". Average age of death in the UK from CV was 86. Vaccinate the healthy to appease the unhealthy. If being unfit and overweight is the single worst health factor for all of us how can we mitigate it? Simple, shut the gyms and offer everyone a free Burger and donut.

IQ tests.

Bro you got the link for that? I haven't been able to find it.

Quick note on who Dr Robert Malone is:

Be warned prior to watching, one of the guys is a bit annoying, the bald guy. at times I wanted to turn it off, he's really annoying. its over 3 hours long so I'd advise these sections pal, and try to block out the bald man.

Pay attention to the above parts mate. Likely most important. But, if you have the time watch it all:

According to CityNews the goalposts for the vaccination has moved to 90% now before that it was 70%. Its almost like they are moving their goalposts when it comes to the vaccination.
I am quite concerned about the lack of long term studies about these mRNA vaccines as well. The gov seem to be in a rush to push the vaccination passports.

The news hasn't talked much about the coivd vaccination passports. I think if they do start talking about the vaccination passports that they would be required in some places i think many would be rejecting that.

At the G7 Summit majority of the staff and members didn't even social distance nor were they wearing any facial masks.

fear overrules logic.

Dumdums and fatties would love nothing more than to have a socialistic society based on handouts and being coddled via the system. That is a mighty fine table of globalist puppets there, mighty fine. They pretend to get injected so the sheep follow along.

Logic: head of state decides to use an experimental vaccine with no long term data - would a legitimate doctor approve it? no.

IQ tests.

I haven't seen anything about the targets changing for reopening.

We are already very close to meeting stage 2 criteria and personal care businesses are already posting tentative opening dates (early July).

Currently we have 73% of population over 12 with 1 shot and about 15% with both.

Reading the tweets on twitter lowers your IQ a bit further, not mention with some posting selfies of their jabs. While claiming its better to get vaccinated i think i would rather for a long term study before jumping on that conclusion.

Now Hill is reporting that CDC will have a emergency meeting on the hearth inflammation in young people.
