go to settings and invert?

Yeah I just want to know if the original was inverted or not

Inverted was the standard back then, so it's certainly possible. Not sure about Goldeneye, though. I believe you aimed with the C-buttons(or maybe you moved with the C-buttons? I can't remember). Don't know if they would've been inverted or not.

I know Turok was inverted, so i wouldn't be surprised if GoldenEye was too.

Can I still play as Oddjob and annoy the shit out of my kids by running around knee shooting and slapping proximity mines to spawn sites?

actually now that I think about it, I don't think you could look up or down in Goldeneye 64. Wasn't there the Oddjob height exploit?

Sure was. It’s likely why playing with standard Y controls feels so fucking weird to me.

Inverted for life!

I also have the N64 controller for the Switch so playing through Goldeneye was an awesome blast from the past.

Thank you

Inverted is the only and correct way to play. It is in fact the only way to have a level of immersion.

IRL you are not moving a target around- to aim up you have to bring the weapon back and towards you. To aim down you have to push it forward.

What's weird to me is that in games during the Wii/PS3 gen using motion controls, you have to play this way with games that have any kind of aiming (Metroid Prime 3, Killzone 3, etc.), yet it still seems like a foreign concept to a lot of people.

Lol

Yeah the movement feels natural inverted. The y axis is like a head on a neck pivoting up and down.

You could but I am pretty sure you had to stop and then manually aim with the c buttons.
