    That photographer is lucky cause that eagle probably would have attacked him if that deer wasn't around.

    Eagles are pretty nasty. There are videos of Mongols using them to hunt wolves. The wolves they hunt are not as big as the North American Timber Wolf, but they are a good size.

    Yeah, it looks like your average domesticated dog. Pretty sad. Those Mongols are a pretty hard group of people. No wonder they ruled most of the known world back in the day.

    ha, but the problem is, the rest of the world advanced while theyre still stuck in the 1200's. Not that I wouldnt trade my office life of comfort to run free in the steppe with an eagle.

    Part of the videos of the birds hunting wolves is the riders run the wolves for a bit before letting the birds go. That way they are tired already, still very impressive when you factor these birds weigh under 15lbs.
