Why is anyone upset that Goldberg got no send off? If Buffer gets $50,000 per show I can only imagine what Goldberg must have been paid, he had to be making more than 95% of fighters, for TWENTY years! How many fighters have been unceremoniously dumped, by email, after getting their faces (and bodies) smashed in and left with lifelong injuries. All for less than what Goldberg got for talking about a fight at 1 show. The majority of UFC fighters had to have made less than $100,000 in their career, I bet only a handful made as much as Goldberg or Buffer, I'm talking the likes of GSP, Mac, and Rousey.

If the fighters themselves could do something else that would make them as much money, most probably would. But obviously most are fighting for a reason.
