I heard from another poster that god, in fact, worships a higher "super god." Furthermore, the reason we have a hell is so that he can pay tribute to super god by sacrificing perfectly good souls. Our god has invented a reward / punishment system so that we can self-select for the honor of being sacrificed to super god, releasing him from the feelings of shame and guilt our prideful creator would otherwise have.

Can anyone confirm if this is true or not?

Yea, but that Super-god only does that to appease Omega-god, who uses the sacrificed good souls to power is Omega-fridge, filled with refreshing Omega-beverages.

Did this conversation happen in the dump? You shouldn't hang out there, it's a bad neighborhood.

Might be a misrepresentation of something I linked to. The point was actually the opposite. God wouldn't know if there was a super God out there, but rather than worrying about it, as depicted in major religions, he doesn't give a shit--he knows he's the most powerful being he's aware of and acts accordingly, taking responsibility for the universe. That has obvious parallels to our own situation.
