That was fine I mean the guy got cracked numerous times, was basically out on his feet, couldn't stand anymore and couldn't do anything but turtle. What do you really want?
MMA is getting ridiculous with this stopping a fight every time a fighter gets dropped and doesn't instantly spring back to their feet.

Legit Alvey had Brunson on seriously wobbly legs with a counter left, a shame he didn't realize it and kept throwing heat

He wasnt turtling, he was only defending the side Brunson was trying to punch, using he other hand to post so he could work up to his feet Not every knockdown is a knockout, he was intelligently defending himself. He was aware of what was going on and changing his defense based on what his opponent was doing He likely wouldve still gotten finished but it was a bad stoppage
If he would stopped it when he fell it woulda been ok, at the time he stopped it he was blocking the punches and defending himself in a way. Whats the harm in giving him another couple seconds to either attempt to get up or get finished. I thought the timing of the stoppage was terrible. He also wasnt turtled, he was only blocking one side and getting ready to post with the other and immediately protested and got up on the moment the weight shifted.
it is just hard to figure out because Mario allowed Ortiz to beat the piss out of his opponent in the exact same position turtled up
