    That's a heck of a 5 fight run.

Beats the greatest grappler in the division and the two best strikers at their own games. Knocks the fuck out of the ironclad champion Lawler inside a round.

Bonus: the fight before that beats the current MW title challenger.

Putting Colby in a cage with this man is like throwing chum into a Shark's water.

Not even systemic racism can stop this title run.

He outstruck himself? You're trying a little too hard here. Long live Nate Marquardt, Jake "Pitter Patter" Shields and Rory!

I don’t think anyone outgrapples Maia.

    In b4 thread title correction.

"Woodley" is actually TS's private nickname for Wonderboy.

He didn't really outgrapple Maia he just kept Maia from taking him down.

All the racists can do at this point is just cling onto the only white hope who actually got a UD over Woodley in Rory MacDonald or reach even further with the roided Nate Marquardt fight earlier in Woodley's career.

This is part of the systematic racism that Woodley is talking about which is subtle and insidious, holding minorities to different and higher standards just so they can shit on.

Not conforming to racist stereotypes, like the Mandingo fighter or the "thug" or the over the top arrogant "baller" just to sell fights.

Respect to Woodley for speaking out well against racism in the MMA community and the UFC and for not conform to one of those racial stereotypes.

Justice prevailed when Woodley destroyed the UK next great white hope in Darren Till at UFC 228.

Come on racists, let the anger and butthurt flow through!

I’ll be the first to admit, idk they went 1-1. This is the advantage of having a productive conversation via sherdog posts with knowledgeable people who don’t just talk shit. Thank you for pointing that out.

I do have to admit that I think Maia is still the better grappler, but it’s hard to say bc Maia is WW and Jacare is a large MW and size and strength do make a difference. But I see your side and loop Jacare as #2.

All good. There were rumors of a 3rd bout between them but I think that was just Jacare fans talking shit haha. I like Marcelo Garcia better than both of them but I'm not sure of his win/loss record against them, iirc Jacare beat him but I'm not sure about Maia. Rightfully they should both beat him they're way bigger.
