Which mixed martial artist (male or female) strikes you as the scariest/most intimidating fighter before the action begins? I'll start the thread by listing only current fighters, but I would love to see the sherdog OG's drop some knowledge on the most intimidating fighters they have ever seen in the Octagon.

- Yoel Romero (most explosive guy on the UFC roster IMO. The man has BAD intentions with every strike he throws at his opponent)
- Khabib Nurmagomedov (scariest ground n pound on the roster at any weight class IMO - Relentless)
- Francis Ngannou (may not scare his fellow HW's as much, but for the average guy like me or most of my fellow sherdoggers, his power is absolutely shocking)
- Cyborg (no explanation needed. If you need a reason why she is intimidating then it would be well worth your time to subscribe to fight pass)
- Cody "No Love" (while the elite of the elite in 125/35/45 may be able to see a path to victory against this guy, his resume speaks for itself and he has a history of brutal KO victories... anyone other than TJ, MM & Blessed should be very afraid)

stipe did nothing to ngannou. he gassed to near death after the first. then couldnt finish. ngannou is goat 1st round intimidator.

He did nothing to him except outstrike him in every round, win the fight and make him look like a giant baby. I have nothing against ngannou but many ppl were intimidated by the hype ard him before stipe exposed his grappling.

Sometimes a smile or a wink can be the most effective intimidation tactic there is. If a guy is mean-mugging you or treating you like shit it may hype you up even more... when a beast like Silva is being respectful, smiling and joking around, his opponent may be confused and start to second guess himself - and once he does that it's game over.

Agreed. Anderson had Forrest so shook, that he got KO'd by a punch that didn't even KO him, he was just shitting his pants. Then after the fight he literally ran away.

Not only did he look mean, he also has a highlight reel of vicious KOs to back the mean looks.

Wanderlei in Pride was terrifying, you could almost guarantee a violent fight.

Fedor for me though, dude was a calm assassin, looking into his eyes pre fight was scary as shit.
