Which do you think would work better and WHY?
I have 5 years of Folkstyle and some Freestyle wrestling experience, and am currently in my second year of muay thai.
I am trying to figure out which would be better for the GNP, from a Muay Thai clinch position. I understand there will be some transition from clinch to clinch but I want to know which would better suited for the GNP and MT knees.
Keep in mind I would do traditional judo (with gi) with the Navys Judo team in Coronado to get use to judo first, THEN no gi Judo would be with Gokor Chivichyan and Gene LeBell.
OR Some wrestling with different greco guys at a local club with private lessons from Valentin Kalika.
(either way I plan to work in some wrestling for sprawl and brawl takedown defense.)
