Does anyone have experience at working at these stores? What are the benefits like and how did u apply? Also, what type of experience do they expect you to have?

THnx

Yeah, our mod, Kabuki, just left his job at one. RJKD also worked at one. And Chad Hamilton has worked at several supplement-type stores (think he said never at GNC).

Of course they'll tell you more, but it sounds to me like the only perks are the discounts (that's #1) and the lack of manual physical labor.

But people suck, and they're fucking stupid.

Also, BFN, did you say you worked at one of those stores before you were a bigshot?

I'm curious now, too.

I guess I just need a job real quick and I really enjoy the aspects behind supplements in correlation to working out and mma. Feed backs are welcome lol

my friend manages a supplement store and he likes it. Supplements cheap, free samples and occasional free goodies. He said its an easy kick back job. He only hires people who train and take supplements because he does so much consulting to those in need of information.

If you work at GNC, work for a franchise one. Corporate will anally rape you, no lube, no kiss.

Quote of the day. I work tech support and my "customer" is the the good ol' US Air Force. The moronathon never stops...

I have tons of tech support nightmare stories. My favorite is the dude who called my friend saying his fax wasn't working. Turned out the dude was holding up the document in front of the monitor and clicking "send" expecting it to be magically whisked away to it's destination.

*applauds*

My "product" is a fleet of aircraft...

My typical phone call goes something like this:

Customer: "Heeeeeelp!"
Me: "*Sigh* So how long has it been on fire?"
