Gloves for Floor bag

    so we all know to you big gloves and wraps when working stand up on the heavy bag, what about doing ground and pound on a grappling dummy or just a bag on the floor.

    You guys still use 16oz gloves for that? or mma sparring gloves?

    i use mma gloves for the floor bag and i find it odd you would use 16oz gloves for bag work they are what we use to spar but for bag/mitt i like 12oz

    well most people I've spoken to recommend 16oz gloves for bag work, on here included

    do u wear wraps under your mma gloves?

    A lot of boxing gyms use 16s for bag work and pretty much everything else. More protection for the hands I guess.

    Its for conditioning purposes also.

    16oz for everything in life imo

    it apparently makes u faster and better conditioned when u have to use lighter gloves (like in a fight)
