after Phil Davis fight he gets #6 ranked OSP, then he fights Patrick Cummins who was at bottom top 10 at that time, now he is fighting Rashad who is ranked #7, which means he lower than OSP, whom he beat 1 fight ago

wtf Glover? could have called out Rumble already for n1 contender spot

Glover is at the tail end of his career now and he probably knows that better then anyone. He most likely at this point just wants to get some wins under his belt make some money and leave the sport.

Don't disagree but the entire division is basically booked outside Gus which I wouldn't have minded.

Also dude give it a rest with your campaign lol. UFC is not going to give Glover the rumble fighter. Not a snowball's chance in hell.

We all know what is waiting for you in the octagon against current Rumble. Rashad is fine for Glover.

Rankings don't matter

always like watching Glover fight
Rashad is not an easy win

Rumble is currently easily the best fighter in the UFC. Cormier is just the worst possible match up for Rumble, and Rumble still probably beats him at least 5 times out of 10.

he wants TS, after OSP fight he indicated that

As a fan i want to see this fight, BUT Glover after OSP and Cummins fight said he wants another TS. Campaigning for Rumble fight is the easiest road to the title shot, like Rumble did when Gus was n1. I don't understand Glover's logic here

Probably because he is smart enough to know he doesn't have that kind of leverage?

Oh, Rashad has looked so bad, Glover is gonna tko him.

i disagree Rashad is the easiest win in the top 15 imo. Im a HUGE rashad fan I always have been, when he was getting slammed for being a boring fighter before the chuck KO i was a fan. The truth is that Rashad fights scared now, he refuses to engage and he is slow as fuck. He isnt relevant anymore. Sucks he had a great run for a while there.

I wish they'd got him 10 years ago.

I don't know if it's good for Glover's career, but I'm now more excited about this fight than I was when it was Shogun. (Honestly, I didn't care at all before.)

Who is rumble fighting? He should fight rumble. Rashad? Don't make sense

Really???? 5 out of 10?
Cormier beats him 9/10 easily.
He has an iron chin, (rumble hit him clean and he got up like nothing), better gas tank, and can take rumble down at will.

He is literally Rumbles Kryptonite.

I like AJ, but he never beats Cormier because he cant knock him out and def cannot out wrestle him.

Its a fill in fight. Not like it was a scheduled fight against rashad.

Shogun needs to retire. He just can't stay healthy anymore.

And Chael choked him out. If that's not a sign I don't know what is.

"Cant knock him out", lol. Ofc he can knock him out, just because they fought once and he only knocked him down doesnt mean he cant knock him out. Why say retarded things like that?

And the main reason he lost to DC was because he fought like an idiot. Had he fought with the same gameplan he had against Davis there is very little Cormier could have done to him. Rumble got reckless because of that knockdown and paid the price, I doubt he would do that same mistake again.

Glover blew his chance already and it's pretty obvious the UFC doesn't see him as a popular fighter. So they are probably using him as a feeder fight for a up and coming star.

People are high on Rumble these days, it is Bader who had terrible gameplan. Ryan could have done much better in that fight

I didn't see his last fight against Bader... but he was injured for a long time before that
which can affect a fighters comeback
let's hope Rashad finds his old form... though both guys are getting long in the tooth
