the big IF here is that he also says he needs to be cleared by the doctor first. His arm is still not 100% after the injury by Jones.
I'd personally would love to see him fight Davis. I think he would maul him... it's a good name, actually I would say a big name opponent, and there's pretty much 0 risk for him in that fight. He is better everywhere aside from pure wrestling, but I don't see Phil taking him down.
There could be more exciting matchups though.
