Glover just retired

At least he was able to achieve becoming the champion. But Glover admitted a simple fact, he may be too tough for his own good.

Glover's still a beast. Up to him and we'll see if it sticks.

If it does, hats off to him. Awesome career and those last 2 fights were absolute barn burners.

I thought he won robbery just cos holl was the younger man typical ufc

Went out with 3 title fights in a row. For someone who spent most of his career chasing a title shot that's not a bad way to go out.

He's in that Bisping category where he had bad luck at his peak and good luck late in his career that made up for it.

Finishes with a career UFC record of 16-7. 2nd most wins of any LHW great(counting all their divisions) 1 less loss than Machida, Liddell and Couture.

Great fighter and great man. He lasted longer than I thought he would for sure.

Glover is a warrior and class act. So cool that he told the fans in the arena to respect the new champ. Glad he's retiring now, when he's still at the top of the division.

Glover is already a successful coach and it would be epic to see him coach and support Poatan to more title fight wins.

He needs it. Dude took years off his life in just the past two fights alone.

Should have done it sooner imo, nobody over 40 should be getting punched in head that much.

He was willing to go out on his shield and never gave up. Some of the younger guys could learn a thing or two from that.

He had a good solid career.

Win or lose he was probably going to retire IMO.

You don't through your gloves into the ring unless you've made up your mind beforehand.
