We have been talking about superfights for a long time, and seen very few - if any. What superfights does the UFC have left at the moment? I can think of maybe: Conor McGregor - Eddie Alvarez Mighty Mouse vs. Dominick Cruz Cyborg-Rousey But none of them are really superfights, or? I know 'superfght' is a subjective term.
I would still like to see Fedor come to the UFC and I'm sure whoever they put him against it would be considered a super fight. There are a lot of good "fun" match ups for him even without title fight implications. Like him vs Anderson at a catch weight.
The only Superfight we've had was Gsp vs BJ 2. To a lesser extent Frankie vs Aldo as Frankie pretty much beat Bendo in that second fight. http://mmadecisions.com/decision/3645/Benson-Henderson-vs-Frankie-Edgar
Fedor isn't super fight material. Absolutely no one on earth vs Fedor would be a super fight. It's 2016. Aldo vs Barboza
A "Super-fight" can only be between 2 long reigning champions imo. The only Super-fights I can think of in MMA, hypothetical or real would be Wandy/Chuck, GSP/Silva, GSP/Penn and Silva/Jones. And we only ever got GSP/Penn 2. Wandy/Chuck were both outta their primes by the time they fought. Out of the fights you listed I would only consider MM/Cruz a Super-fight
We could of have had Cruz vs Aldo, but Dana ducked that one. And we almost had RDA vs Mcgregor, but RDA's foot got bloated. MM will never move up unless he is forced by the UFC.
