Ginuwine Refused To Kiss A Trans Woman On Live TV And Now The Internet Is At War
Some are arguing on whether the singer's latest actions were transphobic or not.
Singer Ginuwine has sparked a heated debate on Twitter after a recent episode of Celebrity Big Brother UK. In the latest episode, Ginuwine seemingly rejected fellow housemate India Willoughby.

The controversy stems from a conversation between Willoughby and the “Pony” singer, in which she asked whether he would date a trans woman. “You would date me, yeah,” Willoughby, who is a trans woman herself, asked. “Not if you were trans,” Ginuwine replied. After Ginuwine replied that he would not date a trans woman, Willoughby attempted to plant a kiss on the singer. When her advance was rejected, Willoughby stormed off.

Now Twitter has split into two sides. One side is outraged by Ginuwine’s rejection, suggesting that his unwillingness to date trans women is transphobic and bigoted. On the other hand, some fans are rallying behind the “In Those Jeans” artist, insisting that he has a choice to date whomever he chooses. Some also suggested that Willoughby was actually harassing him.
 
Can anyone really blame a guy for not wanting to date or kiss a woman with a penis?
 
Hopefully he will not allow himself to be mob shamed into changing his stance. No one, regardless of how "woke" they are, has a right to dictate who you should or shouldn't feel attracted to and how you address the attention of another whom may be attracted to you.

This sort of shit needs to be stepped on and stepped on hard regardless of how many may skree about it. Will be interesting to see how it unfolds, especially within the African American male community.

No one is under any obligation to find trans people attractive or date them.

Dear god people are so fucking stupid it hurts. We have an entire #metoo movement dedicated to exposing sexual predators for even the stupidest of things and now we have a bunch of butt hurt people who are angered by the fact that someone does not want to initiate. You can't make this shit up.

some feminists are gay, of course, and don't want to date a woman with a penis. i think that's fine. tbh, if i want to date a woman id prefer one without a dick, just bc i hate dicks so much lol. tho id be fine with a guy with a vag.
but the rest of the feminists call these women "terfs" and bully and harass them, and exclude them from their little circle of feminism.

Yep. I have no hate to them, they just arent my type for intimacy. I tried to let a trans person stay at my house to escape her shitty parents. She turned me down because there would be other guys there (university house for 350 month rent)...there are guys in the real world too. You cant escape life, you can only escape toxic people. The thing is the person didnt look boyish, looked like an average girl. Nobody would have known shit. I dont get some people.
 
If you were born heterosexual you're attracted to the opposite sex. How can you blame him?

eh. im not trans but even i freak out when having to live with strange men. ive had some shit happen with guys living with me, so im weary of them. she may have been the same. of course you cant escape men out in the world. but at the very least you want to feel safe and comfortable in your own home.
