Gina vs Cyborg was the best WMMA fight to date

One-sided beating. There have been plenty of better fights than that.

That's the fight where Cyborg picks Gina up, and takes her down so that Gina is in full mount on top of Cyborg. Showing little understanding of takedowns or the ground game. Yet many people cling to her as the one to beat Ronda, lol. She wouldn't stand a chance.

That was an entertaining fight though, Gina and Cyborg are fun to watch.
 
was a good example of a roided man thing vs a woman. worst example of wmma ever. Lets hope we never see roidborg in the ufc. if she gives up the peds and don't look like a dude then i welcome her with open arms.
 
It was the biggest WMMA fight so far, but it was an awful fight. Cyborg managed to pull Gina into mount - not guard - and still beat her senseless.
 
Nope. Cyborg/Gina wasn't even the best women's fight in Strikeforce.
 
Waterson vs Penne.

Zingano vs Miesha was a good war.

Ronda vs Miesha had big exposure and was the first step to get women (Ronda show) to the ufc.

Kedzie vs Carano was the first televised woman in america I believe? And pretty entretaining

Torres vs Thug rose.

Cyborg vs Carano killed WMMA.

Cyborg's is WMMA black hole.
 
The fight that made WMMA explode was Ronda/Miesha.

Since then Cyborg has won multiple bjj world championship at the purple belt level.
 
It was a fun fight, but the technique on display was hilariously bad for two pro fighters.

That was a really good fight, prob one of the best wmma i've seen yet. Way better than cyborg vs carano.

But i do think cyborg is one of the best and most entertaining. She mauled gina in that fight.

I don't think an adult woman deep into her MMA career who was a purple belt after fighting Gina is going to somehow catch up to an armbar prodigy who has been doing it since age 4.

Yeah but not really by being technical, she just suplexed and won by points in every match using mostly brute strenght.

Tate vs Kedzie is my favorite
Cyborg fights are always too one sided
 
Kedzie vs tate -was an awesome fight,tate was getting beat up bad on the feat and kedzie nearly finished her with a headkick.

Ronda vs carmouche- just because carmouche got her back and was the first and only time ronda has been in real danger.

Penne vs Watterson-really good technical fight with the karate hottie getting the finish

Nakamoto vs murphy-was a good fight,with nakamoto really showing off her standup before her knee gave out,actually someone who could give ronda fits if they fought,strong clinch game,lethal striking and has some really good tdd from what I have seen.
 
I find it hilarious people thank ronda would even accept a fight with cyborg, she did everything in her power to avoid that fight
 
How could someone retain 'legit' status with 5+ years out of the sport?
