I'll take the underhanded compliment as an olive branch. Cubo and I have "known" each other quite a while and I put in more effort on some topics than others, so that might be the cause of this anomaly. Don't get used to it.

Hey, the first Iron Man was on TV the other day and I noticed that Tony Stark is listening to Suicidal Tendencies in his laboratory in the movie. I thought that was a nice touch.

As for Carano's case...it is ridiculous that anyone would try to *compel* someone to include pronouns in their signature or profile. It is a choice (and it should always remain a choice) by those who wish to send a positive signal to the trans community. It is not uncommon to see in education settings (e.g. by professors, administrators, counsellors) or where people with large and/or diverse populations.

To the people who continue to throw around broad "leftists" labels when responding...remember that it is a SMALL PORTION of the left that is militant about this stuff.

Bullying somebody into doing something is not a good first step to gaining some sort of understanding. I don’t mind people choosing to put pronouns or not to put pronouns in their bio, but it’s definitely the wrong approach to pressure people into doing something they are not comfortable with. Unless your goal does not include developing any sort of mutual understanding.

They don't want "understanding". They want slavish obedience.

If you are cis heterosexual then you are tolerated as long as you are a good ally. And being good ally means genuflecting to them and championing their ideology. Even then, on the wrong day, these crazy people can find some crime you commuted and drill you about it.
