Not really a brag

But what you been up to this year?

I got to be a proper fangirl and touch a sweaty tiny Rob Zombie in the belly, I got to chat with Brock from 36 Crazyfists, and was the first to get a good slap from Clown from Slipknot on Wednesday.

Anyone else been up to owt much?

Lamb if God were AMAZING on Wednesday.

Rolling Stones last month. First concert I've been to in nearly 20 years. Bucket list item achieved
 
Did two standup shows in Hawaii. Killed the 2nd one. I live in Toronto...
 
Not a single one. Sadly. I was a guy that used to frequent them 3/4 Times a week. Now I've been to zero in about six years. Shreveport doesn't get good bands, only fading ones that are about 15 years past due to hang it up, and show tunes. Casino towns suck. Old country and R&B from the 60's/70's, and Rick Rosses and Hurricane Chrises. No metal/punk/indy/anything worthwhile. Dallas is two hours away, but going to a show alone seems kinda lame.
 
I got to see Tom Segura tape his new Netflix Special last week in Seattle, was pretty fucking awesome.

Not music but still awesome.
 
Jedi Mind Tricks, Slick Rick, Alabama Shakes, Lupe Fiasco, Aziz Ansari, The Districts, Keith Murray, all separate gigs, opened for the rap ones, saw teh others, was a good time.


Oh also saw At The Gates, and this new band I like Nekrogoblin.

hah, thanks for not asking.

Standup in Hawaii was amazing, and the west Maui mountains are a real sight. There was a ring of fog around the top of the mountains in the morning and by night the fog was around the bottom. Not every day but a few days it was like that. Never seen anything like it.

Only had the Deathcrusher tour this year:

Carcass,Obituary, Napalm Death, Voivod and Herod. All that for £23. Was fucking ace!
 
I plan a visit to Monroe eventually. If I do, then the drinks on me bud.

Hell no. I'm on my way back to the clink. For a long time. Or I'm running. Haven't decided yet. But adventure is in my future, one way or another.

I won't get one. Got a DWI in LA, my original probation was in TX. I never notified TX I got in trouble here. I didn't pay off all my stuff here. If I get caught up, I'm screwed. I may just run and try my luck. I don't like this region anyways.

36 Crazy Fists got their start in my home town. I remember when a member of their band passed in a car accident. Fuck.

I have a ticket to burning man again this year I don't know who's coming but aside from the gay ass Bruno Mars concert at the Gorge last year this is all I have to look forward to on the subject.
