At 28 years old, some of Jones' accomplishments include:
    • Is the consensus best pound-for-pound fighter in the world
    • Is the youngest champion in UFC history
    • Has the longest UFC winning streak of any current fighter (12)
    • Has the 3rd most consecutive title defenses in UFC history (8)
    • Defeated 5 former UFC champions in a row
    • Defeated the undefeated Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix Champ
    • Has the most finishes in UFC LHW history (9)

Main reasons why Jon Jones is the most well-rounded fighter in MMA:
    1. Jones is the best MMA wrestler in the world (GIFS)
    2. Is the most versatile MMA striker after Anderson Silva (GIFS)
    3. Beats opponents at their own strengths:
    4. Has the most effective groundgame in MMA (see below)

Jones has done more than any other champion at a much younger age. We still have not seen the best JJ.

Damned fine thread, he is indeed an absolute beast in all areas. I love all the gifs, but I hate watching Shogun get his ass handed to him like that... painful to watch.

He's pretty awesome... but he's also a huge LHW. I honestly don't care if Gus or him win because it's two cruiserweights pretending to be 205lbs.

I'm NOT saying Jones isn't a crazy-good talent. But look at him on top of 230lbs-Sonnen and Machida.... they practically vanish under him. It's not just him being tall. He cuts like a boss. And as impressive as it is... it irks me that guys do it.

*also, his punching is NOT good.
