I don't like soccer kicks, no technique involved to do it. Too barbaric IMO.
Has anyone ever had a relevant win after being finished with soccer kicks or stomps?
I guess Arona beat Overeem after losing to Shogun. Any others?
Arona didn't get stomped. Shogun missed the stomp and GnPed him.
Believe it or not, that guy's a lightweight and probably the biggest lightweight ever. And he's not skinny or anything, he's ripped to shreds and just gigantic.
Still has a glass chin, though.
That "glass chin" is likely a result of having only 75% of his fluids back by fight time and having his brain bounce around the inside of his dome without enough cushioning juice. :icon_chee
Lol man I miss soccer kicks.
I fucking hate seeing that. That was Huerta right? I'm not a fan of soccer kicks. Its brutal and I dont find it necessary. Way more less brutal ways to win a fight then kicking a dude in the face while hes defenseless on the ground
I wish the UFC would adopt those rules.
Brutal but awesome to watch. Knees to the head from north south is pretty brutal also
He went full Duke Roufus. Overhaul isn't the best fighter, but that kick showed skill, practice and technique.
Early soccer kick KO from back in the day. Instant Igor Vovchanchin fan.
