As soon as the fight started,Tate walked forward and Nakai was like 20 feet away throwing punches and doing some head movement,ducking as if she was fighting some invisible ghost.


Does anyone have any gifs of this??It was hilarious,i was like wtf is this!?

Post any gif of any fighter in ANY org doing this.Post Nakai's gif next to it and you'll see the difference.

But you are right that in the stand up she didn't look promising.

Her stand up looked to be her strongest asset before coming into the fight. I was hoping she would slowly break down Tate with her stand up. Tate doesn't have the best striking but she made Nakai look amateur.

Is normal.

Strikers do it to disguise strikes into their movement. If you only strike within a certain range, you will be more predictable and easy to time.

I don't feel like making a gif, but Cowboy is pretty competent at this technique.

i honestly was somewhat impressed by rin nakai,she clearly is way too small for that weightclass,and meisha was too tall an order for her in her first fight in. if she was fighting maybe 10 - 15 lbs lower she would go full lesnar on those fools
