So the UFC have booked them to face each other at heavyweight on UFC Fight Night - 5th December.
Collier was once a MW, good lord.
I was convinced he would be cut after the Aspinall fight. The shape he was in and the performance was one of the worst combinations in recent memory.
Taking the Cannonier road backward.
This should be booked as a one-round fight.
Let me remind you Villante got submitted by arm triangle.
From the bottom.
So did Chuck back in the day, doesn’t mean anything.
True and Villante had visible abs and was cut up at 205
Gian Villante and Jake Collier are both bums, you have to take that into account when judging their performance.
They will never fight for the belt or even come close, but did they make a young prospect sweat? did they have an exciting fight? Are they worth keeping on the roster for literally anything?
Loser gets cut seems like good motivation, maybe they even have an exciting fight who knows.
good belly laugh
Gian looked horrible in his last fight. I mean I'm a fat fuck, but boy has to rep us better in there!
Embarrassing. Why are they still in the UFC? Anyone who loses to the ghost of Shogun should get immediately cut.
fat guy fight fat guy fight
The big difference there is that Horn had a fully locked up arm triangle from the bottom and knew what the hell he was doing, while the Crochet Boss had a loose head and arm choke and somehow illicited a tap that surprised even him. That was a bad way to go out for Gian. Really, really bad.
It's amazing Villante still has a job. I can't recall a single good fight he's been in, and he's been around forever.
Collier looked like this before his last fight. Didn't even recognize him.
