Gi Colour

OK, Foz, inquiring minds want to know....

Have you ever actually gone to a BJJ class in a pink gi?

there isn't a BJJ school in the NT.

I will use it when I move to Brisbane in about 2 months.

i'm kinda a traditionalist when it comes to gi colors, so only white or blue.

you'd better be a black belt to wear anything else.

I started with a black gi, and i didn't mind the ninja jokes too much.

one of our instructors has gis of all colors, pink, purple, lime green, etc. lol it's great, so as you can imagine we have no rules.

she just founded catfightgear.com so i expect we'll see more women wearing stylish colored gis if the schools lighten up and allow it.

just keep in mind (someone probably mentioned this already) but for most competitions it's white and blue only, maybe black too.

I have a blue one from Padilla and Sons, just because I want to avoid stains. If I get a 2nd one I'll pick up white, just because I think I should own a white Gi
