Can anyone point me in the direction for odds on Govolkins next fight?? This is the closest thing to a SURE thing in boxing on the next few months.
I agree it looks like a good fight for Golovkin, but Golovkin hasn't really been tested yet. Rosado has fought quality fighters.
my book doesn't have them yet but I'm sure he'll be a heavy favorite. Atleast 5-1 probably a lot steeper, maybe 8-1 but I'm just guessing here. We'll be lucky to get a fair itd line on him imo.
I took an awful beating with my bookie on JDS, and I'm lookinig to dig myself outta this hole. Based on what I've seen and read on GGG I would be SHOCKED if he lost this fight. The guy claims to NEVER have been hurt in a fight or sparring. I know fighter say a lot of crap, but this speaks volumes if true. I remember another AWESOME fighter from Kazahkstan...and I cannot spell his name to save my life..Kostazu. I believe GGG will dominate most anyone under 160lbs. I think he and Canelo is a dream matchup of 2 bangers who are'nt big on defense. Well I hope the odds are'nt more than 4-1, as any more than that and the risk reward factor negates things.
Yeah Golovkin's a monster. Ouma hit him with everything but the kitchen sink and he didn't flinch let alone get hurt. I've heard the same thing about him never being hurt. I'm sure he's been at some point but it just goes to show that people will entertain that thought b/c of all the hype he has atm. I like him a lot against Rosado but I doubt we get him at 4-1, the word is out and he's been hyped since the beginning I'm afraid. You're thinking of Kostya Tszyu, btw. Guy was a monster for sure. I'm pretty sure Ouma was like a 7-1 or 8-1 dog against him and that was well before he fought on HBO. The itd line will be a lot better than his straight ml and that's probably gonna be at better than 4-1. Hopefully atleast. GL hope you get out of that hole.
Ouma is feather fisted though. I like what I see from Golovkin too, but I'm weary of jumping on bandwagons before a guy is really tested.
yeah he doesn't have much in the way of power but the way Golovkin brutally beat him down was very impressive. I'm on the bandwagon, I'll keep rooting for him even if he looks like shit in the future. Guys like him and Matthysse are two of my favorites to watch b/c of how they break people down. Very violent dudes.
itd = "inside the distance" which is basically winning by ko. If a headbutt causes the fight to be stopped and it goes to a technical decision it would be considered itd as well. ml = moneyline which is just the normal betting line between each guy with nothing else involved. For instance, JDS was -200 for the ml but he was -140 winning itd.
I think you should stay away from betting "sure things" and stick to plays that have value. If you think something is a "sure thing" and the odds aren't in the -2000 range, you're probably missing something.
even then. I remember when Zuri Lawrence got a stoppage over a big polish monster on FNF. I had put only 15 on that guy to win by stoppage. I forget that odd, but I remember the odd for him to just win was like -2500 or -3000. Biggest I ever saw lol.
Ouma was old and was coming up from Jnr Middleweight as well. Wasn't that impressive of a performance by GGG, but I think he's the real deal. He knows how to break his opponent down and cut off the ring effectively.
Vid posted today by Seckbach of Golovkin sparring in camp. As far as I know, it's the only vid of GGG sparring out there at this point, pеriod.
It's possible Rosado will give him some problems along the way with his exaggerated dipping down and the odd counter, but Golovkin will adjust and dominate throughout. Stoppage will be 5-9th round. I'm assuming you think Rosado will blow him out?
I don't know man, obviously it depends on which version of each guy shows up that night, but the way Rosado squares up coming in, I can see GGG hurting him early with a counter and getting out of there within a round or two, as well.
