Hall is very inconsistent, remember that this guy also beat Mousasi and is the first one to hand him his first ever TKO loss. You have to understand the WME mindset. They rather build him quick and be popular, only then let him do his improving if he does lose. He makes them more money that way. He has already shown that his style didn't change much in the standup against four opponents, and he finished them all in a similar fashion, so Costa isn't looking like some complete novice asking for a gimme fight like Sage as a target practise, his way of fighting is already set.

Yoel didn't know the fight has been made. It was UFC trying to play ball, trying to predict injury recovery time as well as forcing a matchup. Yoel didn't pull out, the fight wasn't agreed on at all because he would still be recovering his injury in November. What they agreed to was January date, the first ESPN card that now TJ and Cejudo headlines, but Costa injured something and asked for Yoel to wait until March.
