WTF is the hold up with Romero? It's already January. He needs to start talking fights.
I wanna see the Natty God vs the Contaminated Supplement God.

You just want to see Romero makeout with sweaty Paul.

Paulo Costa vs Whittaker is what I am stoked for. Rooting for Paulo.

The UFC would be out of their fucking minds to feed Costa to Romero. Costa BARELY beat Uriah Hall for fuck sakes after multiple dick punches and eye pokes. A Uriah Hall win means you ready for Romero? Costa has potential and running him up the ranks fast would be the quickest way to ensure Costa's failure.

Costa isn’t ready for that lol. Costa-Adesanya would have been the fight to make but I don’t think they want to feed the two most promising MW prospects to each other this early in their careers

He's doing TV shit, he'll be back in June. Maybe
Costa vs Souza for shot after Isreal

I really like Costa, but I'd like too see him to take one more fight before seeing him against Yoel or Whitaker. Maybe a Gastelum,Weidman,Jacare, or Israel fight, I dunno.

They got to bring Costa up slow if they want him to have a chance at winning gold. Do Costa Weidman. Then maybe Costa Branch, let him bang up Kelvin and finally title shot

If he dies he dies.

Hall is very inconsistent, remember that this guy also beat Mousasi and is the first one to hand him his first ever TKO loss. Hall might also beat Jones by throwing a shakunetsu hadoken at Boner's face which result in Boner losing his balance and Hall gnp-ing him out, thus handing Jones his first ever tko loss. Because he is just a damn weird fighter.

I think Costa been flagged by USADA, been to quiet....

Costa pulled out and said March date. The WME are hell bent on pitting Costa vs Yoel, they see Costa as the next Brazilian star and a bad matchup for Yoel, so they very like the idea of Yoel being ranked number one and accepting a fight with a low ranking Costa. You have to understand the WME mindset. They rather build him quick and be popular, only then let him do his improving if he does lose. He makes them more money that way. He has already shown that his style didn't change much in the standup against four opponents, and he finished them all in a similar fashion, so Costa isn't looking like some complete novice asking for a gimme fight like Sage as a target practise, his way of fighting is already set.

Why does MW always seem to be so stagnant?

I read that he's the one fighter USDA has tested the most.

Source? Costa said Romero was just trying to buy more training time.

“I think he’s stalling, he wants more time to train,” Costa told Combate (via Sherdog). “When the UFC sent him the contract, he knew the fight would be in November, otherwise they wouldn’t send it. He knows it’s going to be a tough fight, everyone in the weight class knows how it is when you fight me. He doesn’t want to risk his health, especially a 41-year-old man who’s probably thinking about retiring.”

Yoel didn't know the fight has been made. It was UFC trying to play ball, trying to predict injury recovery time as well as forcing a matchup. Yoel didn't pull out, the fight wasn't agreed on at all because he would still be recovering his injury in November. What they agreed to was January date, the first ESPN card that now TJ and Cejudo headlines, but Costa injured something and asked for Yoel to wait until March.

Yoel Bromero would kill that can.

Waste of a fight for Broel.
