I could see Tank catching him later in the fight. He'll have to or else he'll likely lose a decision. The only way he can win a decision against Shakur is if he's able to drop him multiple times.

I would be surprised if Shakur puts up much of a fight

he has been so sorry these last few fights.

i dont think Shakur will take this fight
if it happens i really hope Tank beats him, badly

I never miss a Tank fight, but it's tough to justify spending $ to watch Shakur.

Tank easily.
my initial reaction was the same, but as absolutely shitty as shakur's mentality is, he is a terrifically efficient fighter. he will box defensively all night and likely take a decision.

i mean everyone else has taken rounds off of tank, he's the kind of guy who puts people way below stevenson's level to sleep in like the 8th round. shakur is skilled and disciplined enough to make it till the final bell.

i'll be begrudgingly rooting for tank, just because shakur's been such a fucking disappointment for the last few years.

It’s hard to pick against someone as boring as Shakur.

He’s not only boring because he refuses to box but also because he doesn’t allow the opponent to box.

It takes godly skills to be that boring. I’ve never seen someone turning boxing fights into starring contests as effectively as Shakur.

The thing is Tank will know going in the there's an almost 0% chance Shakur can seriously hurt him, so all he has to do is constantly walk Shakur down and he's bound to catch him eventually. It's not as if Shakur is some boxing genius and Tank is just a brawler with KO power, Tank is a phenomenal boxer too.

I don't think anyone who can't gain Tank's respect with power or rough tactics can make it to the final bell at this point. Just my two cents.

oh man i disagree that shakur can't crack. he definitely can, he just doesn't pull the trigger. i think his power is more than decent, he just refuses to take any risks with it.

This would not fit with either guys modus operandi of only taking fights they are heavy favorites to win - can’t see it happening.

Look what happens when Tank warms up, gets comfortable, and starts walking an opponent down. It happened in his previous fight and the opponent was completely wrecked within 2 or 3 rounds of marauding Tank on a mission.

I agree Davis should be able to do this pretty much from the opening bell, "Shakur" poses no threat, I think as soon as Tank gets a sense of his timing/rhythm/range he'll walk him down and fuck him up.
