Since I know of left wing politicians that have called for significant immigration restrictions, removal of permanent residence permits, etc you are de facto wrong. No, he allied with islamic countries as germany was out of colonial treats, as a push against colonialists. He admired the muslims, but he would be spinning like a mofo in his grave... for sure.
