When asked what they would do if they weren't UFC fighters and if they ever considered a different career path, Germaine De Randamie said that she already has a full time job. She's a police officer.

    Timestamped:

I'm not sure if i'm more surprised by the fact she's a police officer or that she's fighting for the belt this weekend and still has a full time job.

I'm also surprised she didn't decide to arrest Colby.

She said that years ago. It’s been well known.

Cyborg touched Amanda’s chin and rocked her. If DeRandamie can land clean she can end it!

Yeah I think Nunes “should” steamroll GDR but, if there is any fighter on the card I’d put a small wager on its GDR.

It’s a real possibility GDR finds an opening, lands a nice clean punch, and puts Nunes away by TKO.

It's due to shitty UFC pay, Stipe is also sticking it out with the fire services for that pension. Shit is embarrassing you have UFC Champs with full time/part time jobs and it's sold to naive cunts as they're down to Earth grounded people that's why LOL

You really have no idea what goes into being a firefighter, quit being a hater and get real.

You can buy fixer upper houses on your spare time, sell them for profit and don't declare it as income and still work a $100,000.00 a year government job with full benefits, retire at 55 full pension and still flip houses while you spend winters in Yuma, golf and fully support your alcoholism.

when the most active UFC fighters detail their schedules it seems like they train as much as part-time workers.

average elite fighter trains 2-3 times a day, with each session being about 2 hours.

that's 4-6 hours a day with at least 1 rest day a week.

very possible to train and have a part-time job or volunteer gig.

Haha and how do you not declare that profit as income??

And to the guys talking about stipe, firefighters usually work 2 or 3 24hour shifts I believe a week, something along those lines so it’s more possible, not saying that jobs easy whatsoever though the death rates and life expectancy for firefighters is really bad
