Dude wins 3 straight by KO/TKO also grabbing two knockout of the nights then loses one decision and is cut from the ufc? Someone please explain how this happened

Harris had one beat fight in UFC which wasn't his fault

Only reason I can think of is the fight he lost was a boring one. There was probably some behind the scene reasons that we don't know about.

A very boring fight with Falcao, cant remember it much but I don't think it was that boring as everyone made it out to be, he deserved another chance. He lost a while ago and I think he retired after that

The fight he lost in was an incredibly boring one for the last two rounds that supremely pissed off Dana.

His fights were boring even with the finishes.

The odd thing is, had there not been the timekeeper error in the Falcao fight, he might have tapped to the rear-naked choke that Falcao had locked in at the end of the first round, which would have spared us the next two rounds of that fight and might have saved his job.

He's not Diego Sanchez so he got fired by the big bad boss.

falcao was owning him for the first two rounds (almost finishing him a couple times if I remember correctly), then in the third both harris and falcao cruised all 5 minutes. Falcao knew he was up on the cards, and harris did absolutely nothing to try and win one second of the third round. I think harris was also talking a big game pre-fight.

Dana be pissed and gave him the boot. Def surprising and a bit swift from dana.

yea that was weird... they really screwed up on that one, that choke was in and likely would have seen a tap (I think the bell was off by like 5+ seconds right? Insane..).

Also interesting point it might have saved harris' job..It likely would have. would have maybe given falcao more graces with dana too and changed his whole history, saving him from being a violent woman beater... That guy had some potential and a skill set to go far. Shame

Interestingly enough, of all the cuts, including higher profiled and more well known fighters, when Harris got cut I was the most perplexed. He had those three finishes in a row and 2 bonuses prior, he never seemed to be outspoken or negative publicly, and didn't even have the lay n' pray tactic as his base. Ha simply lost a single fight against a guy who in the past was ultra aggressive but came to the fight with Harris a little more passive, creating the aforementioned boring stare off of a 3rd round.

He got cut for that horrible fight with falcao, dana dubbed it the "ultimate staring competition" he fought a few times for wsof and retired not too long ago if I remember correctly.

I remember the Falcao fight. Seems like the first round was pretty good, but the last two were embarrassingly bad and Dana just did what Dana does sometimes. Cut both of them, I believe. He also blew his fight on TUF against Sadollah. Maybe that stuck out to Dana and frustrated him even more. Anyway, yeah, he got Dana'd.

Right? lol, it seemed like really everyone was at fault
