Georges St-Pierre: I wasn't motivated for Johny Hendricks fight

Inb4 motivated GSP and excuses and all that.

Also inb4 the Wrassler.

It was obvious even before the fight that his head wasn

Ugh. I'm glad he's gone.

GSP went for the takedown as often as he could, didn't get them and got beat up.

At least BJ Penn never actually made that excuse himself.

Wow, what a lame excuse. So he was hungry for Condit and Diaz (two men with shit wrestling) but all of a sudden became 'unmotivated' against Hendricks?

he was hungry for his come back fight and a guy that talked a lot of shit about him

that seems pretty normal

But not against a guy that was extremely highly touted and his most deserving challenger yet? Riiiight :icon_lol:

I don't get your gripe here Redhawks

He come out of the fight with the W, which even I think was controversial (In B4 GSP 1, 3 & 5) - However, it was obvious before the fight he had planned this layoff.

Why would a fighter with so much integrity and self respect make excuses for a fight he won?

He just wanted a break and perhaps shouldn't have taken the fight in the first place.

Condit has a much much better record (legendary even) and was definitely GSP's most deserving challenger. Maybe not the greatest threat but deserving as fuck.

Hendricks came in off a string of shitty SDs.

My gripe is that he is making excuses. Zahabi had denied retirement rumors and GSP insinuated he had plan for a superfight.

Gsp is propably the only fighter that i trust in a statement like that. He was allways incredible honest with his feelings and thoughts.

Yeah, last I checked, you make excuses for losing. Like it or not, he didn't. Plus, he dominated his division for the better part of a decade.

Interesting gripe! lol

Are you fucking kidding me? Before GSP, Condit had 2 top wins, and that was against Diaz in a generally shitty performance and Hardy.

Hendricks defeated Waldburger, Pierce, Fitch (1st round KO), Koscheck, Kampmann (1st round KO), and then Condit himself. Majority of fans felt he defeated GSP, also. That's 4 top 10 wins in a row, 2 (both top 5) were 1st round KOs.

His resume his much more impressive than Condit's.

People who make statements like this don't understand how complicated humans are.

I believe it... Seemed like GSP had planned to leave for a bit but had to take the Hendricks fights.

GPS would win a rematch as long as he gets the eye of the tiger back. You know like when Rocky got it back when he fought Mr. T the second time.

not getting a finish in over 6 years is unmotivating too...
