Cool video of Golovkin doing some work up in big bear one week out from his fight. Those neck exercises look killer man, I bet he has like a 7-10lbs weight. I really really hope this Canelo fight happens by may of next year. I think at the current, Golovkin beats Canelo but the longer they wait the more it favors Canelo.

Fuckers gotta easy up on the shifting. Got my cot-damn eyes twitching out of my fuckin' skull over here.

He looks in better shape than his last fight.

Who is the guy in the red shorts?

Holy shit, GGG is a -10,000 favorite. How the hell is that possible lol

Might be the biggest underdog he's ever faced and that's saying something considering he fought Ishida.

Gonzalez's opponent is a lot better, gave Amnat Ruenroeng a tough fight.
Both fights are gimmes. These are guaranteed KO fights to get fans excited about seeing their next one. They'll try teaming them up for another crappy PPV after this event.

if Arroyo is a gimme, it's only because that's how good Gonzalez is. Realistically, Arroyo isn't a pushover. Is he the best option for Chocolatito? no, I'd rather see Nietes/Inoue/Ruenroeng/Estrada/Ioka, but he's a solid option. Certainly, of the options that were tossed around (including Reveco, Cuadras, Segura, and a no-name I couldn't even remember) he's the best (or second best, after Cuadras) option IMO.

What has McWilliams Arroyo done to not be a gimme?

He lost his only step up fight and has a loss to a 1-0-1 fighter early on.

opposed to a guy like saul alvarez, who went to a draw in his 5th pro fight...

he arguably beat Ruenroeng, one of the best flyweights in the world. Arroyo is the definition of high risk/low reward in a sense.

I mean, Seano, define a gimme fight for me. If Arroyo is a gimme fight, then maybe gimme fights aren't bad at all.

Lets see how it plays out, then we'll bump this thread.
