General Ordierno Shoots Back At Jeb's Claim That Obama Controlled The Iraq Timeline

The General is correct. But I get real fucking sick of hearing how, "Obama got us out of Iraq!" by so many of my wife's liberal family.

arguing over the withdraw is stupid, they wanted us to stay with a supporting role obama was hell bent on getting out

what is not arguable is Iraq was in good shape when we left, we had intelligence on everything that was happening there. After we pulled out and things started going bad they begged us to come back and help repeatedly and even though obama promised them when we left if they needed help we would....he ignored them for a couple years

that can't be argued, the place turned to shit after the withdraw. what does Ordierno say about it...well it turns out Iraqis weren't as capable as we'd hoped
I guess the general decided he didn't want to be one of the several hundred generals and high ranking military leaders fired by this administration and would help obamas revisionist legacy so many of you seem happy to help with and swallow as well

Things got bad because of spillover from the Syrian civil war, a proxy war against Assad the US waged in favor of Israel and Saudi Arabia.

And Iraq was abandoned because it was leaning too much on Iran side, as usual the US conducting foreign policy against its own interests in behalf of Israel and the Sauds.

But Iraqis wouldn't give American troops amnesty, so that's the deal breaker. But either way I'm happy they are home, fuck Iraq, fuck Malaki, and fuck the Shia who blew any chance of there being peace with the Sunnis. Their greed is a major factor in creating ISIS.
