Impressive performance by Mousasi, but beating the Mark Munoz's of the MMA world doesn't exactly give you title contender status.

Mousasi's already lost to Machida, so forget that, but Anderson on the other hand, it could make for an interesting match up, and if the Dream-catcher can somehow pull off a win, it'll let the world know where he stands.

I want to see the Moose fight again this year, Anderson said he would be back in 2015 so.....

Silva is fighting Bisping or Cung on the new years card imo. I'd be pretty confident in that happening.

doesn't make any sense at all. do people forget Anderson wants to fight at 205? Moose should fight Kennedy or Rockhold next.

Mousasi is a top 5 Middleweight and a very elite fighter.

Anderson needs an easier fight for his comeback.

I hate seeing a guy coming off a loss fighting a guy coming off a win besides controversial decisiond

would be great to see Moussasi Vs Rockhold - winner faces Anderson when he comes back - and then the winner of that gets a title shot

I'd be up for either one of those, or Mousasi.

The MW division is filled with intriguing matchups.

Anderson needs to fight someone like Munoz for his comeback. To bad they're friends.

But Munoz,Bisping or Cung would be apropriate. And if he looks good and wins impressively you can throw him to the wolves and give him a shot, which will certainly be his last run.

Same here.

Anderson said he'll be back next year, but I believe the last couple of times Dana White has been asked about Silva's comeback he's said the same thing: He'll be back in the new years card.

post a video interview of Anderson saying he wanted to move to 205 or it didn't happen.

Mousasi would finish Silva.

At this stage, a 28 year old Mousasi vs a 40 year old Anderson Silva, who hasn't fought since breaking his leg in brutal fashion, you might be right.
People think Andersons going to come back in perfect shape and beast mode, it's crazy to think that, recovery times a bitch after an injury like his, and at 40, it takes even longer.
This would be a risky first fight back for Anderson. If he tries any of his first Weidman fight antics on Mousasi he'll get knocked out.
I really wanted to see this fight happen 3-4 years ago.
Mousasi imo has all the tools to be the middleweight champion; it's exciting to see him finally fighting in the UFC.

There is too much of a log-jam at MW right now; Mousasi, Vitor, Rockhold, Jacare, need to face each other.

All of those guys would be very tough fights for Anderson to take after such a long break.

I'm praying to God Silva doesn't turn into a Sakuraba, living off his former glory but getting beatdown in the present just so the other opponent can make a name for himself.
