Hi all,
I have been doing MMA/BJJ for about a month: I have the GI and a rashguard so far. Today I bought some additional equipment in the place where I train (I didn't pay yet as their cc machine didn't work and I am thinking of returning them).
What I bought was (and I found them online):
Gloves - TITLE Classic Boxing Gloves | TITLE Classic Aerobic / Fitness Gloves | TITLE Classic Equipment | TITLE Brands from Title Boxing
Wrist wrap - Fighting Sports Hand Wraps | Boxing Hand Wraps / Tape / Guards | Aerobic Boxing & Kickboxing from Title Boxing
Shinguards - MMA Shin Guards / Instep Guards | Boxing Protective Gear and Equipment from Title Boxing
After looking at those I realized that I paid about twice more (They charge $120)
Furthermore, I noticed that doing MMA in full-blown boxing gloves is very inconvenient once you take the fight to the ground as I can't really grab arms or do proper chokes with huge gloves.
Should I just buy something like this instead? Is it okay to spar in those?
