Gary was an arm wrestler. In this gif, you can clearly see him repeatedly make the motion of slamming his elbow on the table (known to initiate an arm wrestling challenge). It's a subconscious maneuver even though Gary is laying on his side.

In this instance, the "table" was the side of Paul's head.

Brutal crucifix. I remember seeing Gary mauling this poor guy that had no business being in the cage with him. I think Gary had him mounted and the guys was throwing these feeble punches up at Garys face while Gary just laughed "Childs Play !!". Felt like if the crowd wasnt there it would ended in a bad scene from Oz.

I remember an interview one time when he said he just learned the crucifix a few days before the fight from the guys that he claimed to have received a blackbelt from, Kuk Sool Won, iirc. I think it was mostly the back end of his career that did him the most damage, he lost nearly 20 straight matches mostly catching terrible beatings in kickboxing 14 by KO.
