Gane-Rosenstruick was suppose to be fireworks. Instead we get a snoozefest.
In a five round fight, fighters are forced to pace themselves. More often than not they get used to the slow pace and don't pick it up. After "winning" the first three rounds, Gane had no incentive to go for the kill and in fact did not do so.
Maybe the fight would have sucked as a three rounder. But at least we would have only had to endure 15 minutes of suck instead of 25. But more than likely the fight would have been more dynamic.
