Gane is a young, respectful, skilled, massive guy who has been training mma for 3 years only and just easily beat the #4 guy in his 8th fight and KOed a former champ in his 7th. Outside of Brock Lesnar I cant think of another fighter who has been thrown to the wolves this young in his career. The guy is damn impressive, nfc what crack haters are smoking

It's because of how overhyped he was. Went from people talking and him talking about being both HW champon and LHW champion to not being able to earn a titleshot. The Shogun fight was great though.

Vera was a very decent fighter with some legitimate skills. He just had trouble putting it together sometimes. I don't see any connection between the two tbh

Vera was really good, he just folded in a few big fights. Gane really has no resemblance in technique at all if anything he is far more of a physical presence at HW which IMO is what Vera lacked.
