I don't know that Tom is 'much' bigger, he has obvious/visible high body fat making the scale read 251lbs. No doubt he's got more muscle mass and density than Jon, but I don't think its a huge gap.

And then Gane, who I saw lose to Volkov in his last fight (absolutely inept judging isn't gonna change what we all saw). So Jones best HW win really isn't any better. And Aspinall has finished most of the top 10. Obviously Jones LHW resume' is all time great.

I personally think his striking and BJJ is better. Jones wrestling is better, but possibly not able to use it.

Because clean vs clean, it's a much closer fight than you think. DC has such a resume gap vs Jon at HW that it isn't even funny. Strikeforce HW DC would have tossed Gane out of the cage. Remember, he knocked out Stipe back before he was 40% dust.

Apparently, when Jones made that statement, he had no aspirations of fighting at HW. That has changed. Let’s not pretend that DC had some meteoric run at HW in the UFC. Dubious win over Stipe, ducked the rematch to fight Lewis, and then went 0-2 with Stipe. Absolutely laughable. Jones could have moved up and taken DC’s lunch any time.
